Offering case review and testimony on alcohol and drugs. From capital crimes such as murder, robbery and burglary where drugs and alcohol are involved.
I have thirty-seven (37) years of experience, with twenty-three (23) years in Law Enforcement and for the past fourteen (14) years as a consultant to Defense Attorneys.
In 1983 I was one of the first thirty police officers in Florida trained in the administration of the New National Highway Traffic Safety Administrations Standard Field Sobriety Test, by the University of North Florida (Institute of Police Traffic Management) later I received advanced training from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in these tests. I became an instructor at the Police Academy, trained hundreds of recruits and in-service personnel as well police officer and private attorneys throughout the United States.
I was selected as one of the first seventeen officers to receive training in the Drug Recognition Expert Program in Florida, later in 1990 I became an instructor through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration / International Association Chief’s of Police in this program and trained police officer throughout the United States.
I hold a teaching certificate to teach Breath Testing, and has trained a great many people in law enforcement and private attorneys in the operation and maintenance of the Intoxilyzer 5000 series.
I have lectured national on the Drug Recognition Program, Breath testing, and Standard Field Sobriety Testing programs.
